Q: Do I need to rent in advance?
A: If you plan to ride one of our vehicles, it is critical that you complete a booking (status of your order must be PAID) at least 24 hours before the rental start hour!
Q: Can I travel outside Romania with the rental motorcycle?
A: Yes. Please notify us in advance and ask for the original motorcycle documents. A refundable €500 Travel Outside Romania deposit is required and will be returned when the motorcycle is brought back to our location. In the rare case of engine failure / damage abroad where no reasonable local repair solution is available, this amount will be used for transportation back to Romania. If transport costs less than €500, we refund the difference.
Q: How fast can I be on the road if rental and warranty deposit are paid in advance?
A: Our pickup location is not the right place to have a vacation, we like to be very efficient, don't like to waste time and we respect your holiday. Please note that we allocate max 10minutes / motorbike rented during pickup or return procedures. After this period we will charge 20euro for each 30min we spend together.
Q: Rent4Ride airport location is it close to Bucharest OTP Airport?
A: Starting with 2023, our airport pick-up location it is outside Bucharest OTP Airport, inside underground parking lot of Hilton Garden Inn hotel. The city center pick-up location address is 20 Dimitrie Cantemir, Sector 4, Bucharest, Romania.
Q: How safe is to book a motorcycle from Rent4Ride?

Q: What is the age and experience I should have?
A: You must be at least 25 years old. The rider must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability to operate a motorcycle. Our company reserves the right to cancel a rental contract if a rider doesn’t demonstrate proper skill or it proves he does not control the bike in a safely manner.
Q: How can I rent a motorcycle in Romania?
A: Go to www.rent4ride.ro and book it in 3 simple steps: 1) select hour and dates when you want to travel; 2) choose the BMW model and 3) fill in your data and make an advance payment to secure the booking. Please be aware that in order to give you the lowest prices, the advance payment is non-refundable. But you always have the option to send a friend instead of you, in case you cannot travel to Romania.
Q: What motorbikes can I rent from Rent4Ride motorcycle rental Romania?
A: We only rent BMW motorbikes from GS category. We provide the newest motorbikes to our customers: R1300GS, R1250GS, R1200GS LC, F900GS, F800GS, F700GS, F650GS and G650GS.
Q: Do you offer the best prices for BMW motorbikes rental in Romania?
A: We guarantee you always get the lowest price when you reserve a motorbike from Rent4Ride BMW Motorcycle Rental Romania. If you find a qualifying lower price for the same motorbike model within 24 hours after making your reservation (and if we verify your claim) we will give you the lower price.
Q: How can I pay for my BMW rental?
A: In order to book the BMW vehicle, you will pay an advance payment. When you pick up the motorbike you will pay the remaining balance (cash or by card) and the warranty deposit.
Q: What is the warranty deposit?
A: The warranty deposit is between 350 and 1000 EUR per motorcycle and is paid by debit/credit card at pickup. It is a card payment in Romanian lei (RON), not a pre-authorisation or a hold. Within 24 hours after you return the motorcycle, if it has a full tank and no new damage, we refund the same RON amount to the same card. Your bank may take a few more business days to show it. If your card is in another currency (EUR, USD, etc.), your bank converts the amount when it charges you and again when it refunds you, usually at different rates and sometimes with fees. Because of this, the amount you get back in your currency can be slightly lower than what was charged. That difference comes from your bank, not from us, and we cannot reimburse it. Q: What is the fuel policy?
A: The motorbike will be delivered to the Renter with a full tank of fuel. Should the Renter return the motorbike with an empty tank, refuelling service € 10 plus fuel cost will be charged.
Q: What about insurance?
A: The mandatory insurance is already included in the rental price. The full coverage insurance is optional and it costs 15 euro/day. In order to be able to offer you a very low rate for Full coverage insurance, we introduced an excess of 500 euro. This insurance is providing insurance coverage in case of theft/ accident/ damage while you are in Romania. For less than 3 days rental, please be aware that the minimum full coverage insurance cost is 50 euro/motorbike.
Q: Is there any milleage limit?
A: No. The bikes can be driven as far as you like as long as you are within the booked period.
Q: What about my big luggage?
A: If you brought big luggage with you, no problem, we can store it in a secure location until you return from your adventure. Add 'Store my luggage' option to your order.
Q: Discount policy?
A: For a rental that includes more than 10 motorbikes, we are open to discuss a group discount, just write us an email! Follow our monthly discounts and you will get the lowest prices for renting the newest BMW motorbikes in Romania. If you RIDE in March or November you will get a special discount.
Q: What are the expenses under rider responsibility?
1. Electrical stator/generator or voltage regulator. Because it is 100% user responsibility, the insurance does not cover the situation where the stator/generator or voltage regulator are damaged. You can avoid this expense by turning OFF the engine while you are not riding the motorbike(esp for G650GS, F650GS, F700GS or 2017 F800GS). Check out this page: https://www.rent4ride.ro/issues
2. Flat tire. In case of flat tire, please share your location with us on WhatsApp. We will try to find for the closest and fastest fix for you, we will inform you about the costs(incl transportation or replacement tire) and you will be responsible for this expense.
